To enable RFdiffusion to learn to reverse each step of the noising process, we train the model by minimizing a mean-squared error (m.s.e.) loss between frame predictions and the true protein structure (without alignment), averaged across all residues (Supplementary Methods). This loss drives denoising trajectories to match the data distribution at each timestep and hence to converge on structures of designable protein backbones (Extended Data Fig. 2a). The m.s.e. contrasts to the loss used in RF structure prediction training (frame aligned point error or FAPE) in that, unlike FAPE, m.s.e. loss is not invariant to the global reference frame and therefore promotes continuity of the global coordinate frame between timesteps (Supplementary Methods).

In the following, we highlight recent developments in scoring functions for membrane proteins and for interactions with nonprotein molecules, as well as scoring approaches that learn from structures in the PDB. There are many areas in the field of the computational de novo protein design where significant progress is needed. To make large sequence optimization problems computationally tractable, scoring functions use a number of approximations such as implicit solvation models and pairwise decomposable energy terms. Gordon Liddy, accidentally toppled the presidency they were trying to protect. According to HBO, the show will be based on public records and the book Integrity by Egil “Bud” Krogh and Matthew Krogh. The five-part limited series The White House Plumbers will focus on the true story of how Richard Nixon’s own Watergate masterminds. The Watergate scandal, also known as the Pentagon Papers leak, was last revisited by Starz's "Gaslit" — starring Julia Roberts, Sean Penn, and Shea Whigham — in 2022. However, that political thriller instead focused on how Martha Mitchell, the wife of United States attorney general and presidential campaign chairman John Mitchell, got roped into the chaos and cover-up of the crime.

Given all the projects being flushed down the drain at HBO these days, it’s no surprise that some plumbers have been hired. Iconic character actress Judy Greer (Reboot, the Halloween franchise) plays Frances, wife of G. The couple were married for more than 50 years and had five children. Specifically, it's in the hands of writers and creators Alex Gregory and Peter Huyck, both of whom worked on HBO's Veep and The Larry Sanders Show. The director of multiple episodes is David Mandel, who directed episodes of Veep and Curb Your Enthusiasm. And the many executive producers include Frank Rich, who's also an executive producer on Succession. So this group knows how to tell a story in unexpected ways, and to find the humor even in the more serious situations. This isn’t about America or even about Nixon; it’s about jostling for position in the upcoming feeding frenzy. It’s about heedlessly chasing former glory (real or imagined) because if you can’t be Oval Office adjacent, you may as well be in a square prison cell. A key figure in the arrest of the Watergate burglars was Frank Wills, a security guard at the hotel/office building complex. In the show, we see Wills (Eddie K. Robinson) have his first interaction with Hunt and the others during their first break-in attempt, but he thinks nothing of it. However, as they continue to try their subsequent break-ins, Wills is often noticing odd things that raise his alarm. It all culminates when he notices a door to the building has had tape put over the latch in order to prevent it from locking.

Honestly, Turner plays Dita with such dark humor that it feels like Howard probably didn’t even need to bother with the Christmas bonus bribe. She would have lied to Ted Kennedy’s limo-liberal face in exchange for the carton of cigs Hunt smuggles into the hospital for her. Hell, she probably would have done it for the sheer thrill. But it’s in these scenes that we see a glimmer of the CIA agent that Howard may have been once upon a time.

In 1996, Rebeca Méndez (Mexican-American, born 1962) opened her eponymous studio, specializing in film and video installations for cultural programs and institutions, collaborations with architects on interior commissions, photography, book design, and public art. Her practice embodies experimentation, collaboration, and creative integrity. All this technology, supported and complemented by the Cooper Hewitt's new website and digital collections, affords a deeper understanding and appreciation of the more than 200,000 objects in the museum's collection. But the greatest object in the collection is the building, and it is best understood and appreciated simply by visiting.

A chronicle of the lives and contributions of the sisters and how they created The Cooper Union Museum for the Arts of Decoration. Ilonka Karasz (Hungarian, 1896–1981) studied art at the Royal Academy of Arts and Crafts in Budapest, where she was one of the first women to be admitted. After immigrating to the United States in 1913, she became an active member of the New York design scene. Until the death of Sarah Cooper Hewitt, the management of the museum was handled by the Hewitt sisters as directors. Following Sarah's death in 1930, the trustees of the Cooper Union appointed a board of four directors, with Constance P. Hare as chair, to administer the Museum.
