A former FedEx employee has been charged with attempted murder after he allegedly shot a co-worker at a Tennessee FedEx facility. According to Douglas County Sheriff Tim Pounds, Draker was accused of killing Lyons Friday morning.

In the same period, the black population of the Fifth Ward declined by 3,286 as majority African-American neighborhoods in Houston had declines in their black populations.
